Madden 07 greatly Improves the running game and it also chronicles the best season of the ever fighting on… SEAHAWKS!!!. A well done sequal to the smash hit series.

1 Star worst madden ever
this is probably old news by now, but i just realized amazon.com kept all my previous purchases on file, so i’m reviewing most of them at once now to help out fellow consumers–i always appreciate it myself so i’m returning the love. oh, the game? can i score this -1 on a scale of 1 to 10? dang…giving this a 1 is being too nice! worst madden ever. but you probably already knew that. Granted madden 08 was a huge leap forward, but i still miss the playbook feature–something any self-respecting former college QB who’s worth their metal would love. Come on EA!! Its too bad the NFL chose to give an exclsuive liscense to EA, or any sport doing so with any company, since its human nature to rest on your laurels. This franchise was king, and now is a peon! Although madden 08 at least shows improvement, so maybe just a squire now…

2 Stars Stunning in its badness
I have long felt that EA Sports is indifferent to making good games. Having played this one, I wonder if they aren’t actively trying to make bad games.

The AI is simply terrible. The menu navigation is complicated and incredibly sluggish. even by EA standards the game is riddled with bugs. The new features are a mix of bad ideas and poorly executed good ideas. The old features have all the problems they did the year before.

A football game has no business being bad. Even if the execution is sloppy, the result should still be fun (3 stars). That this game is significantly worse than that is remarkable (it is better than Head Coach, but EA owes everyone who ever played THAT game a refund and an apology; here EA just owes it to themselves the think long and hard about wherther making video games is something they really should be doing with their time).

Really, there isn’t much point in reviewing an EA Sports game. You know its going to suck; the only question is how much. I may be dumb for dropping $[...] on one (they are usually fun enough to justify that), but I’m not the kind of moron who spends $[...] on crap EA puts in a box and then writes revoews with lots of exclamation points. If you have an IQ above room temperature, you already know any game by EA is going to suck. If you don’t you don’t care what anyone writes and are going to get the game and wear out the 1 on your keyboard reviewing it…

5 Stars it wasn’t what i order but….
i order hall of fame madden 07 edition and receive regular madden 07 but i’m still satified.

5 Stars Greatest of all time
Madden is the G.O.A.T, I have every Madden since they have been in existence and every time it gets better. I am still enjoying the 07 Madden on my Xbox 360 but so far it’s the most fun I have had playing football on a consol.

3 Stars Madden or 2K?
First let me say I have always played the 2k football games, now sadly they are not available thanks to EA buying the rights to everything!!! So what choice do you have other then madden? The graphics are good but the play calling is pretty bad, hard format and all of the buttons are completely opposite of every football games i’ve ever played. All in all its not a bad game, but if I had my choice I wouldnt own it.

Also My son and I always play on the same team when we play 2k games, sadly madden will not allow you to do that unless there are more than 2 players, he is very dissapointed, so we just play 2k5 on the ps2

I received the game fast, My only complaint is that the case was broken, I did not bother returning as I did not want to return it as I wanted it for xmas, so I wish I had a good case then all would be good

5 Stars As always one step ahead of the NCAA franchise
The production values, features, and graphics are always one step ahead of NCAA even though they’re both EA football games. It’s quite the game, I just gave the “fun” 4 stars because my heart is in college football.

For This review I’m going to talk about Madden. First of all, I just want to say that you shouldnt spend more than 20 dollars for this game we call football. Madden is almost impossible to play if ur not playing on pro difficulty, but then its waaaaay to easy. If u do play on all pro against the computer, be aware u that u will not get any of your recievers to get open no matter what play u call. The computer will intercept and bat down every pass u throw. even when u have a wide open reciever the computer will cheat when will underthrow him horribly. The announcer sucks with his recycled madden lines. Player design isnt the best either. Whats worse is the fact that players run like robots.

The good things are the fact that the Stadiums look beautiful and the online play is great. But if u dont hav xbox live or PSN u better find someone to play against or youll be stuck either blowing out the computer or vice versa. There are tons of game modes for u to play and they are really fun. The player weapons are a nice touch that makes u have to have a strategy.

Madden05 for PS2 is the last playable Madden Game I played,Till last friday. I didnt want to buy it because madden 07 scared the crap out of me to purchase anything with a EA logo on it. If you like Madden then you will most likely like this game or atleast find it playable.

The graphics were comparable to my PS2 and the player movements are “robotic-like”. The side-line graphics are pitiful, with several players on the sidelines moving in sync. As often as they show the sideline, that just shouldn’t be. Not much effort put into Madden 08, but it is Madden, meaning its still somewhat fun. Although, I’d rather play Madden 05 for my PS2, it looks about the same and plays much better! Hopefully 09 has major graphics improvements to make me feel like I’m actually playing a “Next Gen” game! I didn’t spend money for a Xbox 360 to play PS2 looking games on it!
