Dragonball Z Burst Limit

Dragonball Z: Burst Limit is the first game of the Dragonball Z series to hit the next generation consoles. It features the detailed graphics and dramatic, seamless battles expected from a next-generation console. During each battle, you will find conditions that create new dramatic scenes with characters and movement reminiscent of the original animation. After the battles, watch a unique story unfold each time you play. There is also a stronger element of offense and defense, due to added energy saving and fighting techniques. Use of special skills will no longer drain energy. The lower your energy, the stronger you get, making for a possible turnaround of the battle.

3 Stars What happened?
This game really disappointed me. It honestly wasn’t worth all the hype. I mean the new fighting system and whatnot is awesome, i love the graphics too. They are very reminiscent of the anime. This would have been the game to top them all but one thing, less unlockables and short story line. I mean Tenkaichu 2 and 3 were epic because they had intense battles that spanned all to the very last GT saga with SS4 Gogeta and Shenron. But this was really really disappointing.

All in all the gameplay is an awesome concept, but the game just really lacks the endless replay value and campaign length that previous DBZ games had. In the future I would have not paid full price, pick it up used for cheap because trust me I felt ripped off.

2 Stars Rather disappointing
Its really hard for me not to rate a this game with 5 stars as I really love Dragonball Z.

Graphics dont impress me at all… their mouth hardly moves correctly with what they are saying (at least in english). What they say is very limited and most of the times unecessary, so they might as well speak a lot less, so the game could go uninterrupted.

But those arent the main issues. I have completed this game in 4 hours. I was so disappointed when this game finished… I mean, this could have so much more…This is not a cd from ps1….Its a DVD for god’s sake. I believe it had a lot more capacity for more battles, more moves and more characters and transformations. The series sure did.

Too bad really, as I was having high hopes on this game. Oh well…

5 Stars dbz burst limit
Its just like the series. Showing every battle. You get to use some of the most well known moves. It is kind of childish though.

5 Stars BEST FIGHTER GAME EVER! Beats Mortal Kombat by a long shot!
Fighting games never really interested me, until I saw Mortal Kombat. It said it had Intense Violence, but you couldn’t really punch that fast. Then I decided to rent Dragon Ball Z for the Xbox 360. WOW! This game REALLY astonished me! It may be like a cartoon, but it has much more violence than Mortal Kombat could have! The gameplay, graphics, charachters, everthing is AWESOME! Like I said this game is alot more action packed, and much more violent than Mortal Kombat. Plus you can fly! That’s cool! I’m planning on buying it soon and will probably buy Dragon Ball for the PSP! Whether or not you are a fan of Dragon Ball you will like this!

5 Stars Whoa!!!
I read the reviews after I bought this game. I felt sorta bad, but when it got here, it blew me and my brother away. I never stop playing this game after I got it. If you are wondering, yes it only goes to the cell saga, but that most likely because of the graphics and the gameplay.

So I end my review here, if you love dragon ball z buy it!

Watchmen: The End is Nigh Review

March 9th, 2009 Xbox Reviews No comments
Watchmen: The End is Nigh is a brawler developed by Deadline Games A/S for the PC, Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Store. As someone who hadn’t even heard of the graphic novels this game is based on prior to the hype of the movie’s release, I was interested to see if the game actually got me excited for the movie.

Nick - January 29th, 2009 at 1:13 pm - 19 views - 3 Comments Last night, I popped into Metacritic.com to see what the Killzone 2 reviews were saying and was not surprised at all to see that the scores were hitting the ceiling (although the fact that of the first 5 reviews, 3 were from official Playstation Magazines). The game is scoring a 98% metacritic score at the time of writing, with three of the five review scores being 100%. Could the huge scores just be down to hype, once again. Will most
