Halo 3

Halo 3 is the third game in the Halo Trilogy and the thrilling conclusion to the events begun in Halo: Combat Evolved. Master Chief returns to finish the fight, bringing the epic conflict between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire human race to a dramatic, pulse-pounding climax. The Covenant occupation of Earth has uncovered a massive and ancient object beneath the African sands – an object whose secrets have yet to be revealed. Earth’s forces are battered and beaten. The Master Chief’s AI companion Cortana is still trapped in the clutches of the Gravemind – a horrifying Flood intelligence, and a civil war is raging in the heart of the Covenant. It’s all been building to this — a desperate, final war that leads to a soul-shattering climax of epic proportions. Take control of Master Chief to defeat the Covenant and destroy the Flood to prevent the annihilation of the human race.

3 Stars Bungie is trying to earn an easy buck.
Bungie Studios really screwed up in Halo 3. The campaign is fun for a little bit, but then it gets redundant and boring. Secondly, the XBOX LIVE levels are not as great as Halo 2. Bungie refuses to release new maps for free like they did with their predecessors. I feel like they are just trying to make a quick way to earn a dollar. Because of that, I refuse to purchase any new Halo maps if they released them for free after a couple of months on Halo 2. I am totally disappointed in the Halo series. They were top notch two to three years ago, but they are slowly losing credibility. Congratulations Bungie (sarcasm), maybe you should focus more on public opinions rather than earning a couple more dollars in your wallet by charging for new levels that are a year old.

5 Stars great
I had bought this game when it first came out, but had traded it in. Recently though, I had a desire to play it again. When I got it and started playing, it is just as fun as it ever was.

5 Stars Great game, excellent gameplay
This Halo game being the last of trilogy, not including Halo: ODST, is a great sequel with new weapons and great maps for multiplayer. A must have game for xbox 360, there are lots of achievements and downloadable content. One of my favorite gamemodes being custom games and forge where you edit maps. Plus online multiplayer; capture the flag, slayer, griffball, team slayer, and more. The campaign was good, it had few levels but each one had missions that were somewhat long but enjoyable. Overall 10/10.

5 Stars Nice catch
The price was really good and the quality of the game was as described. My son is very happy with it.

5 Stars The best FPS multiplayer experience out there
When it comes to first person shooters, it doesn’t get any better than Halo 3. The game is relatively old now, but it’s still the most popular game on the Xbox 360. And for good reason. The graphics are excellent, the weapons are inventive, and the game just never gets old. There are nearly an infinite number of ways to play the game depending on your preferences. You can team up with friends, play a rated match to improve your rank, go free-for-all, go in teams of 2, or just play for fun in social slayer. Weapons can also be customized so that you can start the map with anything from rockets to swords to battle rifles and so on. You can also create custom maps and download new map packs all the time.

The online experience cannot be rivaled. The game is designed to be played on Xbox LIVE. I’m sure the single player is fun, but nobody that I know even messes with it so be sure to have an Xbox LIVE account because that’s where it’s at with Halo 3. Not to worry if you don’t have one — Xbox LIVE is cheap, east-to-use, and virtually lag-free 99% of the time. The fun factor and replay value of the game cannot be beaten. Even though the game is awesome, be forewarned: The multiplayer experience will raise your blood pressure on more than one occasion. If you are like me and you are angered very easily, this game will certainly push your buttons at times during the online experience. Not to fret — it’s all part of the game. Just be sure to count to 10 and breathe deep.

Xbox 360 Review: Halo Wars (Blogcritics.org)

March 18th, 2009 Xbox Reviews No comments
The latest version of the famous Halo trilogy! This is yet another great addition to the Halo trilogy. Halo Wars takes the player 20 years before the original Halo: Combat Evolved, but in an entirely new game style. Halo Wars is not a first person shooter (FPS) like the previous installments. Instead, for the first time in this series, this title is a real-time strategy (RTS) game. You play as...

5 Stars Sweet
Great Game and a Record Breaking Champion. It also runs on the 360 System!!!

Released in Early 2004. Halo Combat Evolved broke records like a bear walking on twiggs. Setting the new standard for both Platform and Computer First Person Shooters. Halo was a huge success. Bungie was raking in the money and awards.

Based in the Future where a war with an alien religious coalition known as the Covenant. the war goes bad and mankinds only hope is a cyborg warrior known as Master Chief. Halo enters you into a world of amazing detail and epic battles. Follewed by Halo 2 and The Most Anticipated Game Ever, Halo 3.

And as i said. Halo and Halo 2 Xbox Games Run on the Xbox360 System. Its original 480 Pixals will be upgraded to 720p High-Def on the 360.

5 Stars What can I say?
My nephew had me get this for him. I haven’t played it, but he loves it. So, I guess it’s good!

4 Stars The best of the series
Even foe none halo fans this game should be somthing everyone is able to appretiate. This game has one of the most in depth story lines ever for a Shooter no other hsooter ever got this involved with the story line this is less true today with games like Timeshift and Haze. But for it’s time a great game everyone should try.

4 Stars Classic Xbox game
Halo: Combat Evolved was the best Xbox game EVER in my opinion when it was still relatively new. First time I ever played it was at my friend’s house and I had such a blast! It was fun playing story mode with a friend, and the multiplayer maps were awesome! I favored the maps that held vehicles (Sidewinder, Blood Gulch).

The story mode was and still is great to play, though since I have beaten it numerous times in the past years it’s not as exciting, mainly because I know what to expect now. That’s why when I do play it I try and find funny/interesting things to do. I like playing around with the Hunters (one of my favorite baddies), and the armless Flood that follow you around and can’t hurt you! It’s fun to see how many of them you can get to follow you! I think the most I’ve gotten was three or two.

This version of Halo would be considered outdated, since most people are playing Halo 2 or 3, the newer versions. But this game is what started it all! Without “Combat Evolved” there probably wouldn’t be a 2 or 3. Neither sequels have a better story line, I think, and the Spartan armor is cool and better looking than the armor in the second Halo.

Few things I dislike about this game is that you can’t be an Elite. :( And you can’t fight against bots, which would be very awesome if you could! Every game that has multiplayer should have a bot option.

5 Stars This could very well be the best launch game ever.
September 29, 2007 – Man where do I start with Halo I have so many great memorys playing this game ,the first time I seen the game in motion I was just blown away by how great the graphics and sound where and also seeing the enemys and the friendly AI fighting back and forth it was amazing,Halo has been out for a while now but to be honest this is my favorite xbox game ever.

I just beat Halo3 and I had the urge to play threw the Halo series again so I went and I got me a copy of the game, the best part about Halo is the AI your enemys have Bungie has some of the best programmers in the world and the AI in the game for its time was groundbreaking. The enemys will flank you they will run for cover if you toss a bomb at you and they also do things like yell out commandes to other bad guys.

The game also has some of the best graphics of last generation, for the longest time it was the best looking FPS to hit a console last generation. The world Bungie made is fantastic its a ring world that is called Halo and it fills like earth but also at the same time it feels very alien the world its self is very imersive.

The game also has the best multiplayer to hit a console since Goldeneye, the game supported up to 16 people and it has some of the best maps made and the modes are fantastic also. They range from CTF all the way to team Death match.

If you have a xbox and you have not bought this game you really should you really dont know what you are missing out of.
