Xbox 360 4 in 1 Cooling Stand

Xbox 360 4 in 1 Cooling Stand

This 4-in-1 cooling fan stand serves as a cradle for your X-Box gaming system. The center of the stand is designed to rest the X-Box console itself. Near the rear of the slot is a vent that houses a built-in compulsive fan that is perfectly aligned with the vent on the bottom of the X-Box console, so that it can moderate and keeps the system cool, preventing it from overheating. On the right hand side of the stand is a slot for your controller and on the left side are two slots built to hold two game discs.

5 Stars does the job
It’s practical, runs quietly, not bulky and doesn’t need an electrical outlet… so far so good.

5 Stars Xbox 360 4-in-1 Cooling Stand
excelente producto tiene buena ventilacion lo unico de contra que no trae su cargador sino puerto usb

5 Stars Nice addition for gamer
I bought this for my grandson for Christmas to go with his x-box. He was so happy to get it and thought the compartments for the extra games were “cool”.

4 Stars Wii Cooling Fan Stand… noisy but effective
I had noticed the CDs were burning hot when we changed games, so I got this Wii Cooling Fan Stand. I read several reviews on several similar products and they all had some reference to the noise. Since there did not seem to be a product out there that was quite, I chose the one with a stand. This fan/stand met my expectations. I expected it to keep the unit cool, it does. I expected it to be noisy, it is. It does not interfere with the sounds of the games or conversation, but you can hear it while it is on. The only downside is the fan keeps running when the unit is in standby. To stop the fan you must completely power down the Wii unit.

5 Stars it works but it is kind of loud
this works, looks very nice, has a pretty blue light but is a bit loud, not so loud that it interferes with the games but you know when it is running.

Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit

Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit

With the Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit, you ensure that the XBox gaming will last you much longer. This special kit will keep your wireless controller’s batteries from running down while you play. Includes rechargeable battery pack and charging cable.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars An excellent product with one downside!
When I first got my 360, I was happy with it and I didn’t mind changing the AA batteries the first time when they died. However, I’m a serious gamer and it didn’t take long for the second to die too. No problem. Change the battery again, right? Yeah, sure but this got old quickly and I knew I had to do something so I found my way to Amazon and found this nifty little charger. 3 days, I got it and I have to say it has saved me MONEY on buying batteries all the time. It comes with a charging cable which connects to a USB port, preferably, on the front of your 360. It also comes with a rechargeable battery to start you off with. Another cool feature is that it also has a “trickle charge system”. Which means that you can even charge your controller while your console is off. Just make sure to plug in the controller BEFORE turning off the console or the charging will not be initiated. The only downside I found with this product was that the charging can be very inaccurate a few times. Sometimes, I would plug in my controller for a few hours and come back to game and no less than a few minutes or an hour, the low battery signal on the controller would start showing again. This only happened a few times but not enough to be annoying. What I do is simply plug it in every night when I’m done playing so when I come back the next day, I have a controller ready to go. However, there is currently another charging option called the “Quick Charge Kit”, I believe. The “Play and Charge” and the “Quick Charge” both have their advantages and disadvantages. Like the name suggests, the quick charge charges the batteries really fast in 2 hours average while the play and charge is not as fast. However, while charging your battery with the quick charge, you CANNOT use your controllers which to me KILLS the whole experience. Why spend time waiting for a battery to charge when you can be popping alien heads off? With the play and charge kit, you CAN play while charging. Also, taking out the batteries to charge every time quickly gets old and you face risk of losing them, damaging them, getting injured etc. So do I recommend this product? Yes, I do. I have had it for a long time now and I can attest that I have never had any technical problems with it or issues.

4 Stars Decide whether or not this is worth it to you
Basically, while the Li-ion batteries don’t last nearly as long as the AA’s, they do have the advantage of being almost infinitely rechargeable. If you’re hardcore, this is a necessity, otherwise, you might just be better off with AA’s… a single pair will easily last for weeks, especially without rumble enabled.

5 Stars Saved me money
I think I must have waisted about twenty dollars on batterys. This thing has saved me so much money its not even funny. The cool thing about it is that even if your not a hardcore gamer and just play maybe 3 or 4 hours a week it stays charged. I think I charged it maybe once in 3 months. Now that schools over I might acutally put this thing to the test.

4 Stars Charge kit
Works as advertised, the only thing I wanted it to have is the possibility to charge the battery with the console turned off. I don’t know if this actually happens but at least the charging LED doesn’t turn red when the Xbox is off.

5 Stars So useful
So much easier than changing batteries every few days! I don’t game a whole lot [yet] but the charge and play kits are just super convenient. They’re not expensive and will save you a ton on batteries. A+

Review: Nyko ChargeBase 360 for Xbox 360 (Geek.com)

One of the coolest features of the current generation of consoles are their wireless remotes. Not being tethered to the system means users can finally sit back and enjoy their gaming experience from as far away as they would like. Of course the downside of this is that users have to rely on batteries to [...]

BioShock lets you do the impossible as you explore a mysterious underwater city. When your plane crashes, you discover Rapture – an underwater Utopia torn apart by civil war. As little girls loot the dead, and biologically mutated citizens ambush you at every turn. Now you’re trapped, caught in the middle of a genetic war that will challenge both your capacity to survive and your moral allegiance to your own humanity. Make meaningful and mature decisions that culminate in the grand question – do you exploit the innocent survivors of Rapture to save yourself – or risk all to become their savior?

4 Stars Fun and not frustrating, but also violent and a bit too easy
I enjoyed this game very much. The graphics were unique and the plot was ludicrous but engaging. You could use a wide range of weapons and “superpowers,” which made killing things a bit more novel.

This game is pretty violent, which may or may not be a downside to you, depending on your personality. I didn’t really mind it. However, every time I used nitrogen to freeze a mentally-ill person, then smacked them with a wrench as they whimpered helplessly, thus shattering them into bloody frozen chunks, I thought “This is probably desensitizing me in a way that is not healthy.”

The only real downside (again, to some it may be an upside) was that this game was not really challenging. I am a fairly unskilled gamer: I mostly just run and shoot until the ammo runs out, at which time I switch to the next weapon. Even so, I only died twice during this entire game. Just a note, when you die you reappear at a nearby location and all of the hits you made on enemies are saved; so there is almost no penalty for dying. This makes the game a little too easy, but it sure cut down on frustration and swearing on my part.

Anyway, I would recommend this game highly, because it is fun and not too expensive. However, you can expect to finish it in a week or less.

1 Star Don’t buy this game.
This is quite possibly the most boring game I’ve ever played. Not to mention it screws with your system and you can only install it three (3) times– *ever*.

3 Stars twisted. creepy. great prospects ruined.
the game looked great. it had all the makings of a 5 star game. that said, it’s too twisted, too gruesome, too sadistic. they could’ve gone in much better directions keeping the same gameplay/campaign style game in tact. if you don’t like scary things, (like i don’t), pass on the game. it’s not worth it. halfway through, i’m done. too creepy.

2 Stars Bioshock smells like it had more than one in the stink
Bioshock is a great game….for about 40 minutes. After that its story gets convoluted and tries to be smarter than it is. And like most things that fall into that hole, it throws in a M Night Shamalayn patented “twist” into the mix, which fails miserably.

This game had promise, it has an interesting mechanic and decent graphics, but the story leaves a lot to be desired and the combat is repetitive and boring.

Its a shame as what I read the original story was going to be, involving cult deprogramers and the like, was scrapped for this horrible stuff.

Download the demo, it will leave a better taste in your mouth and you won’t get to the crap nougat center of this game. And you can avoid all that license protection stuff too. Fun times.

1 Star Paying to rent
Don’t buy this game. Will NOT run without an internet connection. It is one of the many new PC games that installs a very intrusive copy protection scheme on your computer. It is very hard to delete this software from your computer cleanly. The game requires an internet connection even though it is mainly a single player game, so it can check to make sure you are using the software properly.(to the manufacturer liking). Basically you are paying to RENT it.

Xbox 360 Les Paul Wireless Guitar

Xbox 360 Les Paul Wireless Guitar

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Eh
Guitar works fine when it’s working. The detachable neck sucks though. The contacts lose connection and you are stuck with a guitar that doesn’t work.

5 Stars AWESOME=)
This is the best guitar for guitar hero!! It is perfect size and it rocks!!!!!

1 Star Game ok, wireless guitar terrible
Les Paul Wirelless Guitar is a piece of Junk, Company that makes it should be ashamed of themselves. It may last 90 days, at least that’s what the company that makes it is hoping. Stay with the wired guitar and avoid the problems.

4 Stars May 08: Best Xbox 360 Guitar
This is the second guitar to come packaged with a Guitar Hero game on Xbox 360. This product is guitar only; click the bundle option if you need to buy Guitar Hero III as well. Buy this to get another copy of the best–for playing purposes–guitar on the Xbox 360.

This guitar is great and works on both GH II/III as well as on Rock Band. The strum is reliable, though loud, and the frets are responsive. Other nice features are that it is black, can be customized with faceplates, and is wireless. Two AA batteries last a good while, maybe 20-40 hours.

The sole downside is that the edge of the guitar where your lower arm may rest is not really comfortable, so your skin may feel a bit chafed after extended play. Still recommended over anything else, especially that Rock Band guitar, which doesn’t even work on Guitar Hero.
