1 Star Pelican Cable Apparently Discontinued
I purchased this cable from one of the sellers on this page. The price was great and the shipping was extremely quick, unfortunately it was not this item. What I received were two low quality generic 25′ ethernet cables and a generic connecter.

I’ve inspected the Pelican Livewire before in stores and it is a high quality product (one of the main reasons for purchasing it over other cables).

If you purchase this listing please make sure to read the seller’s notes because you may buy from the seller I did and you will not recieve this item. Watch out for “NOT in packaging” and the seller will/may offer it in other colors.

3 Stars Good price, okay product.
These Ethernet cables are worth it for the price. I stick to a wired network, so I have these green cords running all over the upstairs. What’s interesting is that it’s not a single 50′ cable, but instead two 25′ cables and an generic green inline connector. Very useful.

However, after using a couple of sets of these, there are some problems. One, there are little rubber “shields” over the snap-on connectors. They take an annoying amount of force to disconnect the cables from anything. I suggest you snip these off with a pair of scissors. Two, the connectors themselves are poorly made, and are very liable to breakage. The cable will still work, but you need to tape down or find some other way of keeping your cables fastened to their devices. Out of four 25′ cables, I’ve had two of them break the connectors on both sides.

5 Stars Xbox 360 50′ Ethernet Cable
Very good speeds and a top quality product. Highly recommend and will be purchasing again in near future.

5 Stars Great item and best price for ethernet
I need to run ethernet from my living room to my computer room and need ethernet. What really turned my on to this package is that it is actually 2 25ft cables and an ethernet cable connector (a small box to attatch to ethernet cables together). At a retail store where you could say you get a “best buy”, I priced 25ft cables and the connector all seperate and it came out to >$35. The connector alone is $9.99. The cables are actually a high quality cable, and have good connectors, unlike the one MS sticks in with the 360, and seem to be pretty durable. I have not had any lag at all, which cables can be the source of, while playing on LIVE.

5 Stars it’s not a game
it’s a fifty foot ethernet cable that I was able to run under my house, the product does work great.

Xbox 360 Premium Console with 20GB Hard Drive

Xbox 360 is much smaller than its predecessor–it measures approximately 3.3 by 12.2 by 10.2 inches and weighs 7.7 lbs. It’s powered by custom IBM PowerPC-based CPU with three symmetrical cores each running at 3.2 GHz. It also carries a custom ATI graphics processor 10 MB of embedded DRAM. This is powerful enough to draw 500 million triangles per second. In other words, it makes for great looking games in standard TV definition, and even better thanks to built-in support for HDTV 1080i televisions. It also supports the widescreen 16:9 format.
The unit has a 12x dual-layer DVD-ROM drive, which plays both the game media and progressive-scan DVD movies right out of the box. For game-save and media storage, users can choose between the detachable and upgradeable 20GB hard drive, or a separately sold 64MB flash Memory Unit. Along with storing files, the hard drive will make the Xbox 360 backward-compatible with part of the existing Xbox game library.
Xbox 360 uses a refined button layout for its controllers. Back and Start buttons sit at the center of the controller and between them is a new Xbox Guide button, which instantly takes the user to the Xbox 360 user interface. From there, they can check for friends online, access personal digital content like photos and songs, and more. The black and white buttons of the first Xbox controllers have been replaced with new shoulder buttons placed above the left and right triggers. Xbox 360 can accommodate up to four wireless controllers and has three USB 2.0 slots to use for wired controllers or for streaming your digital media from digital cameras, MP3 players, and any Windows XP-based PC. Microsoft has announced plans for a upcoming video-conferencing camera that will work with the system — Plays DVD-Video, DVD-ROM, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, WMA CD, MP3 CD, JPEG Photo CD.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars The origional Pro
I bought an origional Pro (20gb) shortly after they came out. It only just broke on me! It has the optical drive problem, where it won’t read discs, not the RROD problem. It worked great untill a few weeks ago. I have no complaints other than now with the download game to HDD option, the 20GB doesn’t seem like much.

1 Star do these things ever work?
i don’t know about anyone else, but i purchased the 360 for my son who wanted it REALLY bad. he has been able to play it a handful of times, it keeps breaking. sooo frustrating!

5 Stars Useful feature not covered above
I’ve built up quite a library for this thing, even though it has not yet arrived in my eager hands. I played it on several occasions at a friend’s house and look forward to having one to call my own. One of the most useful features is not covered in the description above. The wired controllers are two parts, the cable has a breakaway feature that is a lifesaver if you have people wandering around between your couch and TV without looking where they are going. Instead of “CRASH, BREAK, OH NO!” when someone snags the cable with their foot, it comes apart without disturbing the base unit at all. I’m not saying it’s a loose connection, just that the fit into the base unit is tighter than the breakaway part and this is by design to keep your expensive video game from accidents. The games look great too.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Good setup for the cost
Good quality racing seat for the cost. Seat is large enough to easily fit a 6″, 200 lbs person. It does, however, lack full lower back support for those extended play sessions. Nothing an extra piece of foam or pillow can not fix.

The frame is flexible but still well constructed with plenty of adjustments for player size and reach preference. While it is easy to break it down into two smaller pieces for storage, the seat/frame combination will take up a pretty good chunk of real estate in your room.

I had purchased many “real” racing seats before for costs far higher than this complete seat/frame combination. I definitely recommend this setup for any player.

3 Stars Far from perfect but workable.
When I recieved the gamechair I found out a few flaws that I wish I would have known in advance. I can take care of them but its going to take modification that I feel shouldnt be needed in the first place.

1. This chair doesnt fit the G25 racing wheel’s foot pedals from logitech. The base is to short and I will have to add another suppport board underneath to stabilize it.

2.The wheel height adjustment doesnt go “down” very far and feels like its to high. But this might be just me and my preferences. Still I am 6′ and feel it should be able to lower more for shorter people.

3. The steering column feels unstable. I think there should be more support for a steering wheel that is going to be putting up with alot of side forces.

Overall its not a bad gaming chair but I certainly would of returned it if I had to pay the full price($300). But since it was 33% off I will just modify it to my preferences.

3 Stars flimsy make
its ok, but not good enough for the money I paid for. It start breaking apart from the welded joints, buy this one of they giving a welding machine free with this. not recommended at all!!! unless you ready to lose your money within couple of months…. get something reliable!

4 Stars Playseat for Driving Force GT
Great seat for my Driving Force GT to play GT Prologue … and also a nice seat for my kid while watching TV. The set up gives a good adjustment for length and height. The only star left for a perfect 5 is if an improvement can be devised to keep the swinging steering frame stable.

04/23/09

Someone inquired about the steering frame stability. The answer is the frame is not really that stable for hard core gamers but good enough for having fun. A single tube to hold the steering wheel is surely not enough. We still enjoy it in running Gran Turismo and Ferrari Challenge. Motorstorm is still on the sixaxis only. For very tight races though, the sixaxis is still the best way to drive.

4 Stars Good Playseat
I got this playseat classic in blue on sale last week for about $140. I was really excited when the price came down because I’ve been eyeing one and didn’t want to spend $250 on it. I also bought the G25 racing wheel to go with it. It was after ordering it that I found out that the G25 wheel doesn’t fit the playseat classic. This seat was made to fit the Logitech Driving Force GT perfectly. So if you have a PS3 and don’t want to spend a lot of money on the G2, I would recommend the Driving Force GT. I wanted to keep the G25 so after googling I found several people that made it work so I was excited to try out some modifications. From the other reviewer on here they had said they used a 1×12 board so that’s where I started. Using the provided velcro and some handy work I was able to mount the G25 pedal assembly. I connected the wood to the pedals using 5/16 x 1 1/2 inch screws. I then attached the whole thing to the metal plate of the playseat using 4 strips of velcro. I have added some pics of my handy work to the gallery (please enjoy). The one thing that I was excited about was the gearshift assembly mount, because that cost $50 if you were to order one. I made that from some shelving bracket and left over wood for about $2.

The review of the playseat over all is average. The seat itself is of good quality, but the frame is a little weak as many of the other reviewers had already said. The frame is flimsy but it’s not overly flimsy that it’s unusable. I think it’s passable for the price you pay. The only really flimsy part is the single steering collumn where the body is attached to the steering wheel. Also the part where the metal rod attaches to the seat is also flimsy. If you want a more stable gaming seat I would consider getting the Playseat Evolution. The price is about $300 so you have to consider if you are willing to spend that much or not. Over all it works and I’m happy with it. It was worth the money I spent on it. My son and I are having a blast playing Dirt, Ridge Racer, Nascar 09 and Burnout Paradise on my PS3.

                  Buy/More Info

White plastic got you bummed out? Swap that eyesore Xbox 360 white case
for one of our Clear Ghost Cases. This is the most complete 360 case on
the market, with high quality plastic that gives the appearance of glass
(nobody wants murky clouded plastic cases)!

This is the only case in the world that comes with a clear DVD drive
lid, which actually lets you the DVD spinning while you play! Inside
this amazing kit is also a clear fan tunnel, without this vital piece
you wouldn’t even be able to see your circuit board! This piece opens up
the whole inside of your console so you can see everything going on
inside (this also allows for your custom lighting kit to light up
everything in the case)!

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Well worth the time and effort
I have to admit it takes some time to put this case together, but the final product is just pure genius. It makes me so happy to have a glowing box that plays all my favorite games. This is my first time modding a product, and I am happy to say it was a success.

5 Stars Ghost Case for Xbox 360 review AMAZINGLY GREAT / MIND BLOWING
This is single handedly the greatest accessory for the Xbox360 you can buy. It completely changes the way your console affects the ambience of your game room. In the dark this awesome kit glows a blue so fine it makes the whole room change. It is not easy for an amateur to put this together, the 360 case was designed to make it difficult to open, but once everything is running perfectly its like a symphony, Microsoft would sell 10 times as many units if it would make these types of modifications available from the factory, simply AWESOME!!!

4 Stars Cool product
This is case mod is very cool but it has some problems. for starters it is not an exact replacement case so you cannot mix and match other parts seamlessly. its made of acrylic so it is as clear as glass but feels like those old rulers that i had in elm. school that always scratched and broke, but this product feels rather rigid. The power button wont work unless you remove the Ring Of Light dissapator or modify it. the dvd drive lid is iffy it must be centered well or the disk will jam. lastly the led lights are not as bright as they could be potencially becuase they draw power from the fan which has variable speed therefor variable brightness. all in all great product for the price.

Xbox 360 sets a new pace for digital entertainment. More than just a cutting-edge game system, Xbox 360 also integrates high-definition video, DVD movie playback, digital music, photos, and online connectivity into one sleek, small tower, and in the process puts true Next-Gen power right at your fingertips.

Note: This is a refurbished Xbox 360 Pro console.

Under the Hood
Xbox 360 is much smaller than its predecessor–it measures approximately 3.3 by 12.2 by 10.2 inches and weighs 7.7 lbs. It’s powered by custom IBM PowerPC-based CPU with three symmetrical cores each running at 3.2 GHz. It also carries a custom ATI graphics processor loaded with 10 MB of embedded DRAM, 48-way parallel floating-point dynamically scheduled shader pipelines and Unified shader architecture.

Control your Gameplay
Microsoft has also created a video-conferencing camera, sold separately, that will work with the system.

The Media Experience
All Xbox 360 titles can be played in either standard or high-definition resolution in 16:9 widescreen, with anti-aliasing for smoother graphics. Game designers will be able to take advantage of the system’s multi-channel surround sound. The Xbox 360’s digital media allows users to supplement any game’s music from tracks in their own personal library.

Go Live
A built-in Ethernet port allows users to connect their system to a broadband connection for access to Xbox Live. The Xbox Live Silver Membership included with the console lets anyone create a Gamertag and gamer card to express your online identity, chat live with voice chat, and connect to the Xbox Live Marketplace to buy expansions, maps, and other digital items for your games. You can also update to a Xbox Live Gold Membership at anytime for even more benefits. The separately sold wireless adapter supports the common 802.11a, -b, and -g standards.

5 Stars Still going strong
Ok i got my xbox 360 for christmas and it is still working fine its 1 and a half years old nothing wrong other than overheating so i call up my cousin says it might be dust so i take the hole casing off(not recommended unless your warrenty is gone like mine) and blew all the dust off. Now my xbox 360 is working perfectly again.

Xbox live is a blast to have especially with your friends and then the people online. It is deffinently worth every penny. Oh and the only reason you hear peoples dying after 2 months is because all they do is play it because it can be addicting.

2 Stars X-Box 360
It was delivered nicely, but now it’s dead and it’s only been a little over two months. Great

5 Stars the 360
It said a wired controller but i got wierless controller.I got it sooner than it said and it works perfectly.

2 Stars If you buy one, you’ll eventually buy two.
The system is a blast to play when it’s working. Unfortunately there is a boatload of problems to be had from the 360 for some reason. I guess they should have not released it so early. It seems like I could hit my PS3 with a sledgehammer and it would still keep ticking. The first problem was the Red Ring of Death. But I was happy that Microsoft completely fixed that. When the system got shipped back though, the open and close tray messed up first thing out of the box after being refurbished. I dealt with that though up until the “no video but sound works fine” hiccup a lot of the system’s are having. This is not covered under Xbox’s 3-year warranty extension and costs money to fix. Hopefully it might be covered someday. It really should due to the number of cases reported. But I just decided to buy a new one with a much better warranty due to all of the problems my current 360 has had. No wonder Microsoft is reporting tons of sales. Most people are probably on their second or third Xbox. But after making Xbox Live such a gamer’s commodity, I’m not surprised why people keep coming back despite the terrible fragility of Microsoft’s product.

5 Stars hello
hello friend sorry tradansa the tube esque no chance to check my mail everything good with a little problem rebulador had the fucible but it burned through x sulucione everything and the game of halo 4 day pass through the new mind

Okay, I haven’t seen any honest reviews of this system and since I’ve had mine for over a year now, I figured I’d put a review up for it. This system, as mentioned, was free from codes. I acquired mine at a yard sale and have found it to be a very good, dependable XBox. See, long before the 360’s RROD, XBox had other problems. Namely, the first set had lousy DVD-Rom drives. I know as I watched my friend tears his apart to fix them. This system, doesn’t have that. It was created later using the better DVD-Rom drive. The only problem I’ve had with it is the DVD rom drawer not opening properly on occassion, but that has gone away after using the paperclip trick.

Bottom line, the color choice is personal, and yes… $900-$275-$200 is probably a bit steep for this system, but the prices now are definitely reasonable and I imagine you’d have less issues with this machine than you would say, buying one at gamestop for $60. I love this system, even regardless of the deal I got on it.

It gets the full five stars from me. I just wish amazon would remove these dated comments that have nothing to do with the system itself, because idiots thought it was a 360. It’s obviously the same XBox with a different colored casing and it’s an excellent edition of the XBox.

1 Star Weak Sauce
Xbox is obsolete, why pay $300 for a bright green Xbox when you could buy a new Wii for the same price or throw $100-200 more for a X360?

5 Stars What is going on???
Alright, something is messed up here. Why the heck are people raving on about xbox if this is a Nintendo Wii controller?? Wii is awesome! someone please tell me why everyone is shouting about xbox on a Wii product!!

3 Stars Read the description…before you open your mouth!
Where are you people getting the idea that this is a 360? Nowhere in the description does it state that this is an xbox 360. Maybe everyone should pay a little more attention to detail before going off on crazy tangents, it just makes you look foolish. This is a special limited edition xbox console, the lime green color and special ‘mountain dew’ center jewel are unique to this edition. This xbox is one of the only special edition systems released in the U.S., the other one was the halo special edition (translucent green). This machine is a collector’s item, if you are a collector then I’m sure the hefty price tag is not a problem, but if not I suggest you look elsewhere for an original xbox–you can find a standard black console at target for around $150. If you are looking for a 360 wait ’till April…or if you are smart wait longer, until the inevitable price drop and the second and third gens are released (less bugs/glitches in the subsequent generations). As for the person that mentioned buying a PS3, well good luck with that b/c sony is not releasing its next-gen console until sometime in 2007…

1 Star From $900 to $275 is the reason!!!!!
These are the same 2 sellers I saw 2 months ago selling this Xbox for $900. I check now and it is only $275!!!! I can see why it is one third of the price. It is ugly, and it says Mountain Dew on it. Who would want something that says Mountain Dew on it instead of Xbox? Also, for any of you who thought it was a 360, it is not. Mountain Dew gave these units away for free when they had the “look under you cap thing”!! It is worth 1 cent. It comes with a black S controller. Shouldn’t it come with a green controller to match it? Do NOT NOT NOT buy it!!!!!!
