1 Star Still waiting to check this game out
Well the seller is late on sending me thing game. I am so sorry. I didn’t even know that this has sold. I was curious why it hadn’t, but never checked Amazon and don’t remember getting an e-mail. I’m shipping today. Depends on how long it takes USPS to get there. Could take 2 months…….Now I think this is poor business and should demand my money back. Here is a review for you, tell me what you thing of the service i get for this game?
5 Stars Full Metal Jacket 2025
This game is so worth [...] i spent on it, i can’t believe how underated this game has been. I must say that the only con of the game is that it’s too short, other than that it’s a great game. Nothing can really compare to any of the COD games, but this one is a little gem in it’s own way. The game is non stop action, you get shot at from buildings, tanks, helicopters… you even hear the whiffs of the bullets and rocket launchers, just great!!! Note, you can also drive tanks, fly the helicopters, etc, there is a pretty good array or weapons you can use, they are usually given to you depending on the level or stage of the game that you are in. Let me tell you that the best part of the game is when you reach downtown Moscow, oh nelly get ready, it’s like the wild west, bullets flying everywhere!!
4 Stars Pretty Decent
I went to a game store the other day looking for COD4 (go figure) but they didn’t have it so I looked around for another game to screw around with and I found this. It was only 18 dollars and it looked cool so I bought it. I went home and started playing online, it was great. This is a futuristic war game, pretty much WW3, if you played Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for the original xbox, it’s pretty much the same but it’s a futuristic war, that’s how I see it anyways. It’s cool how they give you roles to play too, like Ground Support, Air Support, Drone Tech, EMP Tech. The drones are a neat feature, I use them any chance I get online. This is a great, cheap game to play, I only recommend it if you have online though, otherwise it might be a waste of money. Also, the MP is awesome. Huge maps with tons of vehicles to use or just go by foot if you want too.
The only bad things were the vehicle controls, I’m still pissed about them, their sluggish and hard. And the sniper rifle, the aiming is terrible and it usually takes 2-3 shots to kill an enemy. I just wish the aiming was better.
But, this is a great online game. Also maybe a good rental for SP.
4 Stars Alex and Sam’s game
It is a good first person Shooter. Game play is rather short, but Multi player is great.
4 Stars The Diet Coke of FPSs
There’s not a lot to say about Frontlines. Imagine Call of Duty 4 with standard graphics and a little bit more retarded AI. Everything about this game feels just like a streamlined FPS. If you’re itching for some more modern warfare but only want to spend [...], Frontlines is a great choice.
Pros:
+The few new features Frontlines offer generally work pretty well. The game gives you a handful of robotic vehicles, including micro-helicopters, which can be lifesavers in some situations.
+The cut scenes can be skipped. The story tries to take itself as a serious commentary on the oil crisis but who cares? Let’s just skip straight to the shooting.
+ It’s just fun. It plays like the store brand of Call of Duty but there’s no denying the simple joy of driving your military R/C car behind enemy lines and under a tank to blow it up.
+Diversity. Though it doesn’t help the story to do so, the game constantly moves around, from the slums of Moscow to a desert oil field to a backwoods forest.
Cons:
-The whole “frontline” aspect is a cheap ploy to cover a pretty standard level design. The game boils down to go here, blow up this, secure this, move on.
-AI. Your enemies can score headshots from behind cover 300 yards away. Your fellow soldiers are idiots. I spent five minutes trapped in a room because one of my guys just stood in the doorway, firing blindly across the map.
-The sniper rifle sucks. I like to lean on sniper rifles in RPSs, but it doesn’t work here. Frontline’s sniper is horribly inaccurate and only a direct headshot will kill an enemy in one round.
Bottom line: You’ve probably played this game before but that doesn’t keep it from still being a blast. Just close your eyes and imagine its a new level pack for COD4.
